I was sent an invitation to a hospital memorial service given to all the families of any kind of loss of a baby, be it an early miscarriage, stillborn, whatever the loss. My husband, my daughter and myself attended. It was really beautiful. They called out the names of each baby and as they did that, the families of the baby went up to the stage and lit a candle. you could also put a toy or whatever you liked on the stage. My daughter picked out her favourite bear and had drawn a picture for him, which she placed on the stage. It was a very beautiful but highly emotional service. But, it did give some closure.
It is a little soul that will never be forgotten, nor will the experience, but all I can say is that you can move on, in a good way.
